*Important infomation regarding increased fuel costs
Please note as from 1st March 2022
Regrettably due to the increased fuel costs I have had to look at a fuel charge. To keep this plain and simple as a per milleage cost is unpredictable I will be making a travel charge to sites over 15 miles radius from my base location postcode CM1 6FJ. If your location is over 15 miles then there will be a one off charge added to the invoice for £10.00 and will be shown as travel cost.

76 to 100 tests for £109.00
If you exceed 100 tests we then charge £0.80 per item .
No other charges are made.
Microwave emissions tests £4.95 each ( these are carried out as a matter of course during testing unless specifically requested that they are not done)
What We Do?
Essex PAT Testing Ltd offer a professional service around your business needs. We will arrange to visit at a time and date convenient to you. We understand that you do not always want disruption during the day so we have engineers available for out of hours and weekend if needed.
Engineers are Appliance Testing Competent Qualified. Fully insured and CRB checked.
What we provide
When we visit on site we will liaise with the assigned contact on arrival undertaking and Health and Safety training that is needed.
We will then survey the site to ensure that we have all areas covered and then with the contact organise the best way to work with you.
The testing for each appliance consists of the following:-
We will start with a visual inspection checking for:
Checking for damage to flexes
Checking for damage to plugs and equipment
Checking for loose wires from the plug.
Checking for signs of over-heating
The testing is an electrical and/or physical visual inspection depending on the inspection frequency in the current code of practice. We do not turn of computers if they are on and operator is not available to so. In this case only a visual inspection is carried out.
Each item is labelled with a PASS where appropriate showing the item number and date.
If a FAIL is registered then we will advise the site contact before leaving the site.
Documents are emailed usually within 24 hours of receipt of payment for your records along with any recommendations.
We use the Tysoft PAT Testing Software.
